Germany & Eastern Europe

Although Anglia's initial reputation was founded on WW1 battlefield tours to the Western Front, we have in recent years become the company of choice for schools looking for fully guided expert tours of Germany covering it's Imperial Past, the Rise of the Nazi Party, the Second World War, its reconstruction as a nation, the Cold War and the impact of the Wall coming down.

As a company we are aware that schools are not satisfied with a one size fits all policy on tours and this is why all of our tours are tailor made. Diane Coyne is our Germany and Prague Desk Officer and an authority in her own right. She will guide you through your options and advise on accommodation and sites to visit that fulfil your requirements. She will also help select a guide that would be best suited to your school's needs.

We have listed a series of locations and subjects that we can cover on our Germany tours that can be very much "mixed and matched". It is therefore quite easy for us to put together a tour that includes both the Rise of the Nazis and the Cold War. We can also arrange tours that cover Berlin, Prague and Krakow.
