Anglia Battlefield Tours was formed in 1997 out of a desire to offer schools the highest possible quality guided tours available in the market place. We took our first tour of 70 students to the Somme in the November of that year. Since then, we have literally taken tens of thousands of students on history based tours around the world, and are probably the largest UK schools tour operator to the battlefields of France and Belgium. We now run tours to Russia as well as the USA and have recently launched a ski company taking schools exclusively to Sweden (www.angliaski.com). Two years ago we formed another company to deal with our burgeoning military and adult business and stand as one of the few companies in the UK capable of running tours from Preparatory Schools right the way through to Army Staff Rides! Anglia is not perhaps the cheapest schools tour operator in the UK but we offer an unrivalled service and fully guided high quality tours that few, if any other company can match.
