Battlefield Studies

Battlefield Study tours are normally major unit level exercises. Anglia Battlefield Tours will assist in incorporating your study into training for your operational role, as well as reflect directives and mandated training objectives.

Our tours focus not only on military and historical aspects but also on decision making in battle, doctrine, deductive logic and the components of fighting power. ABT will provide presentations, lectures and preliminary study packs, including bespoke written materials for use before and during the tour. During the field learning phase, we can work with officers and SNCOs on TEWT type exercises to support your training aims. Our guides can also help exercise members deliver elements of the tour as a part of individual training and development.

ABT aims to minimise the administrative burden of your exercise through the provision of suitably qualified guide(s), who will liaise with project officers throughout the planning and preparation phase. ABT's dedicated office team will organise transport, accommodation, messing and other services as required. We will tailor your administrative package to reflect not only the training objectives but also the size of your budget. Our knowledge of the ground can obviate the requirement for expensive recces.
